Maintenance release 3.7.2
We published two maintenance releases today
Lights-Out 3.7.2 for Windows, Synology and QNAP
Lights-Out Mobile 3.7.2 for Android and iOS.
The 3.7.2 package for your server or NAS is available immediately on the Download page. The mobile updates should arrive in the next days in Google play and Apple’s App Store.
What’s new in release 3.7.2 for your server?
Version 3.7.2 contains fixes and adjustments but no new features.
QNAP QTS
Version 3.7.2 primarily addresses a problem with QNAP QTS 5.0.1. As of QTS 5.0.1, the previously used and required mono runtime QMono 6.8 (from QNAP Club) can no longer be installed. The current QMono 6.12, on the other hand, could not be used until now because an internal change had prevented the Lights-Out service from starting. As of Lights-Out version 3.7.2, the behaviour has been adjusted so that QMono 6.12 can be used.
If you have not yet updated to QTS 5.0.1, you should proceed as follows:
- First update Lights-Out to 3.7.2.
- Then update QMono to 6.12
- Then update QTS to 5.0.1
This sequence ensures that there is no interruption of functions and no loss of settings.
If you are reinstalling under QTS 5.0.1, you will find adapted installation instructions in the online help.
Further changes
This version has been tested against macOS 13 (Ventura) and is released for it.
Fixed a high memory consumption on the server when a client is missing on the server (all systems).
Improved wake-up after start-up on slow network cards (Windows Server).
Lights-Out Mobile 3.7.2
The new version 3.7.2 improves the support of iOS 16 and Android 13.
