Updates: Lights-Out 2.5.3 and Lights-Out Mobile 3.0.0.4361
We published two updates yesterday. Lights-Out 2.5.3 and Lights-Out Mobile on Android 3.0.0.4361.
Important: Prepare for Lights-Out 3!
Lights-Out 3 will soon be available. If you have up-to-date “maintenance and support”, you’re ready to upgrade to Lights-Out 3 for free.
If your “maintenance and support” has expired and you wish to upgrade to Lights-Out 3, then please install update 2.5.3 and extend “maintenance and support” now! Version 2.5.3 calculates the number of years you have to buy to be up-to-date. If you never extended “maintenance and support”, you may have to pay for 2 years. This is still cheaper (80%) than a new license for version 3.
Attention: You can’t extend maintenance after installing version 3!

Lights-Out Mobile for Android 3.0.0.4361
Lights-Out Mobile for Android has been updated to support Lights-Out 3. This includes support for new servers (Windows Server 2019 and Synology NAS Systems).
Adding a server has been improved. You no longer have to specify a well known port like 443, 7782 or 7783. This is now automatically detected.
Note: This update does now use the TLS 1.2 implementation from Android. If you can’t connect to your server anymore, please verify that your certificates are valid!
A similar update for iOS is coming soon.
