Lights-Out 3.5.2 Public Beta
A public beta of the upcoming version 3.5.2 is now available for testing. This beta update corrects reported errors and includes support for the upcoming macOS 11 Big Sur from Apple.
A further change is the continued reduction of the certificate lifetime to 1 year as of September 1, 2020, as forced by Apple and Google. Apples Beta of macOS Big Sur requires this already.
What else has changed in the public beta 3.5.2?
Fixed #968736: If a user action is configured on the server, it is now executed in the console with the command “save energy now”.
Fixed: For a client computer, the context menu displays only the power-saving modes that are actually available
Fixed: Network load detection stopped working after a sleep/resume cycle on Linux-based systems (including QNAP and Synology)
Fixed: Loading an outdated license during the 30-day evaluation period does not offer an upgrade discount
Fixed: Running Synology Active Backup for Business on a client computer is not detected as activity on the server.
Fixed: The edition Windows 10 Pro Workstation is now correctly recognized
Fixed: The client command line application uses a wrong protocol directory on Linux
Changed: The lifetime of the certificate is now 1 year. In order for this to work, you must run the SSL Wizard again with the default settings.
