Have windows home server 2011 and am getting a constant update notification on my desktop. Server dashboard says there is an update too. Not sure if my server can even be upgraded cause it’s based on windows 7. I tried the reload the license file to get the buy screen but that doesn’t popup so I am assuming whs 2011 is not supported which is fine however I cannot get rid of the desktop nag each day unless I disable the apps notifications completely in the windows system settings. Any idea what is going on?
Re. Resubmitted cause I mistyped the email address the first time.

Hi Joe,
Windows 7 and WHS 2011 are supported systems. So, yes, you can upgrade.
To upgrade the license, you have to install Lights-Out 2.0 first.
Have a look at the blog for details.
